I was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. I am happily son’ed to a guitar playing father and a Lawyer mother. They have recently relocated to Paris – a move brought on by career necessities. That leaves me at home with my cats Lucy and Lucky, my boyfriend (we live together and seem to be on a long term track) Josh and his two evil and huge birds, Tristan and Isolde. Josh is a junior at Vanderbilt University, where I have just begun my freshman year. We live a very quiet and domestic life, cooking, cleaning and studying together. He will be starting a new internship this summer clerking for a Federal Judge. For money I play guitar in bands that need someone to sit in for a night or a week – I have no interest in a full time band gig but I do like the occasional live performance. I also do session work (Union Only) – mostly demos and tracking. Otherwise I play golf or play here. It’s pretty fun being me.

Matt, out of pretty much everyone on SCN, is my best friend here. He obviously has a better memory than I, 'cause apparently he remembers me being the first person on this site to ever tag him and welcome him here, as well. He's helped me through so many hard times, and helped me to get out into this strange abyss known as the real world and meet some people, one of whom has become very special to my heart. He almost never has a bad word for anyone, and despite not being on-line enough, is an absolutely amazing guy to talk to You rock, Batty!
