I'm not going to type my life story, or use a bunch of descriptive language.
We'll start with my worldview. It's quite cynical. I just want people and things to make sense, and I'm willing to go to great lengths and interrogations. I spend a lot of time at my computer, doing different stuff (typically forum visits, web surfing, programming, or blogging, or whatever else I can find to do. I love to meet all kinds of people, regardless of their craziness.
I don't follow any political party blindly. I don't believe any particular side of the coin makes it more valuable. Besides, I'd rather find a way to improve the coin than spend it..
Oh yeah, and I have a minor in psychology.
Favorite drink: Frozen margaritas that aren't too sour. Really, it takes skill to mix them just right.
I'm thankful for... Everything, but I rarely express it. It's too easy to take life for granted.
Most quote-worthy line I've heard in a while: "Opportunities aren't always there for you to find. Sometimes you have to make them yourself." -- Jessi
The best writer of all time is... Dave Barry. Really.
Thing I'd want to tell new SCNers: I could put "custom fields" in my profile before this handy dandy contraption of code made it simple.
Thing I'd want to tell old SCNers: I think you're pretty cool, but you probably have no idea who I am.
Ways to make me giggle include Point out the little hypocritical intricacies in life. Tell me a joke that's not corny. Tickle me. Show me a funny sign. Do a rain dance. Call me in the wee hours of the morning to tell me about crazy commercials (I'll probably be up anyway.) There's more, but you'll just have to find them.
The best way to hurt my feelings: Make me feel useless.
The best way to put me in an awesome mood: Tag me or e-mail me. Really, I don't get that many tags or e-mails, and when I do get them, it's like opening Christmas presents!

He's got a great sense of humor, he's intelligent and nice, and I guessed him for the last Guess the Member game! I always love reading his posts, and I like just knowing he's here on the forum. Agent69 says: Dave has become one of my best male friends on SCN. I can always rely on him for honest feedback, legitimate, thoughtful debate, and he has an awesome sense of humor, especially for a geek. I appreciate the fact that he doesn't just blindly follow any specific dogma, but actually analyzes and rationalizes before making a decision on which side to support - a true sign of mature intelligence. Now if we can just get him laid, all will be right with the world!
Thanks for your help with my articles!
