VVC Anthropological Society ...I'm the former President of this society at my college and a member and former VP of Records of the Alpha Phi Gamma Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society.
Me:
I'm a mother, wife, full time college student, archaeologist/anthropologist, & dirtbike racer (#116). I enjoying being outdoors and would say I'm a laid back, easy going person. I'm open-minded, sarcastic, a smartass, I dont feel the need to judge others, as I dont like being judged myself. I'm obsessed with piercings. I currently have nine total, but I'm far from being done. I have my lip done, the bottom part of my navel, and my ears. I plan to get my lip done again, a Monroe, and my ears done several times again. I come from a strict Christian family, however, I am Agnostic.
Future Education Goals:
I am currently working on several certificates, including: Forensics and Field Work/Lab Work....
I'm also currently working toward an AA degree. I'll be graduating in December 2007 and transfering out.
In the future, I plan to be working towards a Masters and Ph.D. I would like to get into Geoarchaeology, among other things. I'll be going to Prescott College to obtain my BA and Masters. While at PC I will still have my same three mentors as I do now at VVC!
Current Education Goals:
I ended the 2006 year making The National Dean's List for 2005/2006 & 2006/2007 (twice) and Honor Roll for Fall 2006! I'm now in my last year at VVC. I made President's List for Spring 2007. I am already ahead of most grad students thanks to three wonderful mentors!
Lab & Field
I currently work in the lab at my college and at San Bernardino County Museum. I work on the field through my college, SBCM, and another company in my area.
