Short Stories Amrehlu has written the following short stories: Aries Lethal vs. Reaper Soulis: Aries, Reaper, and Amrehlu are three of my many original characters that are often the main focus of my short stories. There is a long, long history behind all of my characters, and in some way, even though some exist decades after other have died, they are connected. This is the first part of a trilogy of short stories that are about the first time Aries and his traveling companion Xeno (say-no), meet with Reaper and Amrehlu (ahm-ray-loo). This particular meeting takes place after Amrehlu has had his revenge on his brothers, and started "The Dark Edge," which is basically an army of volunteers that attempt to keep the peace between humans and demons, and will eradicate any of the two groups that act radically and without reasoning behind them. Amrehlu Blackdoom is the leader of this group. Reaper, a close friend of Amrehlu's, but not in "The Dark Edge" is on a mission to take what is rightfully his, from jealous, and very tainted brothers. He is on a mission to retrieve his families thirteen swords, all with great power, they were promised to the thirteenth male child, of the 13th generation of his family. His 12 brothers became jealous of the powers he would be able to wield with all of the blades, and cooperated to steal the swords, and kill their mother and father. Aires Lethal is new to Litharium (The Realm of Existence... basically the planet's name.), and had been tricked into thinking that Amrehlu was an evil overlord that wished destruction on the realms of existence. He was sent by a man falsely claiming to be a mage who controlled time to bring him to Litharium, and was set on a mission to collect powerful artifacts so that he could kill Amrehlu. This confrontation is taking place after Aries managed to kill and attain a powerful blade from a man, Reaper's 7th brother. This is also what leads Aries to realize he had been tricked and the final resolution between himself and the "time mage." Sorry for lengthy description, but i felt i should give a good deal of info, due to my writing style, i start stories off without much info on what exactly is going on and slowly explained what lead up to what is happening in the story. PLEASE give me serious critique, tell me what you all liked, and what you think i should do a little differently with my writing. Should i try to describe things in more depth, or should i give less? Maybe explain the emotions in the scenes in more detail? I seriously need some help, i have no self confidence and am honestly convinced i suck at writing... Neavora Arrives: This is another, rather short, short story from my world, Litharium. I wrtoe it about 5 months ago, and i decided to post here. Neavora is one of my friends main staple characters for most RPs, and for Litharium i decided to use him (with my friends permission of course). He plays a big role in the storyline of Litharium, but not for years and years after Amrehlu's time, even though he is around than. This is just a simple introduction into the storyline for him is all. |
