I like lyrics that need to be analyzed a bit before being understood, and/or contain radical undertones. Something different than I've ever heard before is usually a good thing, as well. Improvisation can beat deliberation. Sometimes things inspire feeling for one reason or another but don't fall under anything I just said, but that's good, too.
