Why would we be here? Our souls are here in the physical world, and for the time being we take a physical form. Now, our bodies are just means that help us do what we need to do. For those of us who are born with deformed bodies, they will be in a sense "perfect" in the afterlife because they will then take their spiritual form (your soul) in Heaven.
