Its up to adults to decide whether they want to smoke or not & doesn't that politician realise that by banning smoking, more people will want to start because it is 'naughty'? But when I read the reume i liked it and then I read the book. It was 'Oranges are not the only fruit' by Jeanette Winterson. A business might offer presidents money which will be used in the campaigns persuading people to vote for that president, in return for the president promising to do something that will benifit the company (and very likely, not benifit the enviroment, other people or other moral considerations). The people running for president will be far more likely to win, the more money they have for advertising campaigns so it is generally the people who will best benifit big companies and corporations who will get into power.
