An when you be nice to them they treat you like crap. (2 answers)  boxocereal: What the answer below me says or people just suck.  DisguisedSavior: It depends mostly on how "approval seeking" you are. If you act like an important person and help them, they'll often be grateful, but if it looks like you're type that's seeking their approval or you project a sense of low self-esteem, they'll respond accordingly. Some will take advantage of that and others will ignore you.  Why! Are there so many rude people out in this world.
