Will he even be able to pay it? Or in a case like manslaughter, do you "accidentally" kill him? "Let the punishment FIT the crime" is a stronger credo (although I have issues with that, too).

It was rather funny at the time, but now I have a scar. I stabbed a pencil in my hand the other week. I also fell out of a tree a couple of years back and broke half a dozen bones. I'm officially the clumsiest person ever.
