3rdwatch2jeter
: democrat all they way
Eowyn_Athena
: Hmm. I really don't identify with any specific political party. I just would vote for who I think will do the best job.
cheer_up_emo_kid

Have you seen "The Passion of the Christ?" If so, what did you think? If not, do you intend to see it?
(32 answers)
boxocereal
: Never seen it.
Belisarius
: Yes. I liked the blood, violence, direction and Monica Belluci. I think the story and acting sucked.
phig
: It crossed the line into melodrama a number of times, and overall the movie had very little impact on me. Guess that's what I get for being an atheist. On a more positive note, I thought the Satan character was portrayed very keenly. (Oh, yeah- Jesus inventing the chair? W-t-fvcking-f?) (And Mary looked like a man.)
JustAnotherFiend
: i have never seen it and i have no intentions to do so.
faerie_kisses
: never seen it
KittieKat8181
: we own it but i haven't seen it yet
ktglo4him
: Yes, I thought it was amazing. The depictions were accurate as far as the Gospels portray it; of course there were details that needed to be supplied. It was actually not as violent or anti-semetic as I expected it to be, from various reviews I had read. For me, it was an awesome way to understand my God a little better.
rockpoet89
: i cried so much, it was very dramatic
Thevamp
: It really does not support christianity at all it just supports antisemetism
Guest vvilliam
: Yes i have seen it and as somebody who studies the gospel it was completely accurate albeit with catholic imagry in it... as to what fredish said, mel gibson was not even an actor in the movie. He merely produced it. It actually rips me apart that you aren't even giving a thought to what you say you act in anger to something you know very little about. No it was not the Romans who had Jesus Crucified it was the Pharisee's. Maybe you should consider brushing up by watching the movie you are trying to rip apart.
Navygirl87
: Yes...i saw it. and i'm glad i did. I think it's good for ppl to see what Christ went thru, just so he could have a relationship with us. It really opened my eyes...it made me wonder if (assuming i lived in Jesus' day) i would be a follower of Christ - not one of the 12 disciples, a follower - or if i would be one of those who helped put Him on the cross...nad the truth is, i don't know, but i'm glad i have a secured future in my Lord Jesus Christ today...
blayze_2k
: Eh, i've seen bits. I have a weak stomach, and I really don't want to see my saviour get tortured for two hours...
3rdwatch2jeter
: no b/c i think god is the most overrated piece of fuckin crap!!!!!!!! the fact that sum1 would actually wanna make a movie about god is soooooo unbelieveably wrong!!!
Eowyn_Athena
: I do not intend on seeing it. From what I've heard, it's a terribly innaccurate portrayal of Christ's suffering and death. I've heard it has little plot, little character development, and lots of blood. Doesn't sound like a good movie. Plus, Jesus isn't that interesting of a historical figure to me. I'd prefer watching a movie about Buddha or the Dali Lama.
Big_booty2005
: no, i don't see movies i don't want to see and will make me fall asleep
stillgroovin
: Saw it, loved it, was drained by it. No, it's probably not for everyone. And I wouldn't use it to try and convert people. But I do think it is good for Christians deep in their faith to see it, so they get a better understanding of just how much God understands our sufferings.
frkWereWolf
: to the guy below: jesus wasn't black. he was from the middle east, not africa. to the original question: nope. why? because i dont' like those types of movies. and i would much rather read about jesus in my bible than watch in a movie
freddish
: Oh, and also in the historically innacurate part of this: Jesus was black. Mel Gibson is not. More flaming innacuracy.
freddish
: I have no desire to see it, for many reasons. One, I think Mel Gibson is a horrible actor. Two, I really have no interest in the supposed last two days or whatever of Jesus Christ's life. Three, it's antisemitic as all hell and that's just not cool, people hate the Jews enough as it is without a respected movie star telling the world we're horrible. Four, it's historically innacurate. The Jews didn't kill Christ, the fucking Romans did. Why is this so hard for people to understand?
Chrissy0686
: no, i haven't seen it, and it's not that i don't want to; it's just that i know i'm gonna cry my eyes out when i do.
TexZen
: I saw it, and thought that it was a disgusting display. It simply existed to pull people's emotions. "Emotional masturbation" was one critic's appropriate discription.
Blue_Roses
: seen it. It was pretty good (this from someone who doesn't belive Jesus was the son of God lol)
sparrow85
: Yes, it was intense and very moving. I still feel choked up 2 weeks later
Nuclear_Anarchy
: Nope dont intend to see it

Eowyn_Athena
: When I was a Christian (which I am no longer) I attended a non-denominal Church of Christ (NOT the UCC).
fred_flintstoner

KittieKat8181
: yeah. i think it would be fun to see what life really does live out there
Eowyn_Athena

Are elephants really afraid of mice?
(15 answers)
boxocereal
: Yes.
xfallenxangel91x
: No, I saw something like that on Mythbusters or another show like that and they did a test that showed that an elephant is typically unaffected by a mouse's presence
punk4ever
: I doubt it
mikedude03
: i think they're more afraid of flaming pigs
frkWereWolf
: unsure. tulsa zoo keeps a cat inside their elephant barn to keep the mice away. so it makes you wonder
Chrissy0686
: i dunno, that's a good question though. there's a good chance that they could be though b/c the mice are probably small enough to go up their trunks to make them stop breathing or something like that.
1982
: unproven
afireinsidemyheart
: hmm let me ask my elephant...he said no unless they bite
blayze_2k
: I don't think they even notice them until they are a little wet feeling on the bottom of their feet. So yes. I would be afraid of something if I was always stepping in it and squishing it!
charlyn
: If its true, then i don't blame them--mice are disgusting!
aznchiq
: no

Do you suffer from depression? If so, do you think it is just the typical depression many teenagers experience, or is it more serious than that?
(21 answers)
boxocereal
: Yes.
lilpixiedez
: i've been on antidepressants since age 10, and based on my reaction to my teen years, i'm going to say more serious.
xfallenxangel91x
: Yes I do. I was diagonosed three years ago with severe depression with severe anxiety
Eowyn_Athena
: I used to. I honestly do think it was more serious than a lot of people's depression, though I've never been them so I can't say for sure. My depression was because of chemicals AND circumstances, and they were both pretty crazy. My mother died when I was 13, I had to take care of two younger siblings, my dad is a verbally abusive alcoholic, and when I went into a depression ALL of my friends disowned me. Every last one. I was so suicidal and depressed that I was admitted to a mental hospital for a short period of time. And I was on 3 anti-depressants at one point. I got off of them in December, and although I've struggled a bit (mostly with my Anxiety disorder), I'm doing pretty damn well. I am happier than I have been in years.
Chrissy0686
: i've never been depressed so i really can't say
BambiRambino47
: Yes. No, I'm on Zoloft. I've been depressed since I was about 15, and I thought it was just "teenage" stuff.
1982
: nope, i'm forgetting my depressions, 'n carry on with my life
silent_death_666
: yeah i do, it's not the depression all teenagers go through though. I'm depressed all the time and if i'm happy it doesn't last for more then a couple hours. I'm Boarderline Personality. I go to atherapist.
pReCIouS_MaiDy_04
: yeah...don't know why...
annabelle41
: I do encounter depression at times but I think it's just a typical one...it's only temporary and not really as serious as others
jessica9961
: i do, but i also have OCD so the depression is a big part of that
witchygirl
: I don't know. I have these erally bad days when I just want to die and others that I want to hurt myself, but the next hour/day/week/month/year (the time between varies) I'll be giddy and perky and the epitome of happyness.
black_dragon5903
: yes i do and i feel that at least 9 out of 10 teens and i also feel that my dark view on the world allows me to find the jerks and the assholes that act like they actually have it the bastards
crimsonteardrops
: yeah i do, but im not sure what kind of depression it, but it causes me to do some bad things like cutting and starving, so i guess it might be something worse then typical
LostAnDelirious
: unfortuately yes... and more serious. :(

Are hope, faith, and love the 3 greatest things? Why or why not?
(20 answers)
boxocereal
: I have to agree with lilpixiedez.
xfallenxangel91x
: same as below
lilpixiedez
: No...I believe love is, but hope and faith? I would change those into understanding and compassion
Eowyn_Athena
: Nope. Mine go in this order - Wisdom, Love, Compassion.
deelicious

bluefireangel

onesweetgirl222222

jakie
: Yeah, if you don't have them you don't have anything
Elishar
: Love is definently up there and Hope is really high on my list as well but for the third I'd have to say honor
freddish
: No, I think individuality, the ability to question, and Tool are the 3 greatest things.
viperchick
: yeah, i htink they are for some people. But one should have more than hope. You can't spend your whole life HOPEING things. You have to actually act and strive for them and achive them. And as for faith, everybody has to have faith in something. Whether it's a god, many gods, or simply faith in one's self. And without love, well, there would be no point in living!
michiganbabe1816
: yes
Princessgirl60
: yes
sweetlikecandy05
: they are the greatest things cause love is such a powerful thing and makes you feel so good inside, its the most amazing and wonderful feeling in the world....faith cause sometime it brings two people together like for example it has brought me and my bf together and I'm thankful it did...hope cause you shold never give up on everything, keeping hoping and believing cause it may come true
imthegreenfairy
: Well...depends what kind of faith I guess...I think 'peace' is pretty important too. And food. yum...

Do you analyze/interpret dreams, or are they meaningless?

imthegreenfairy
: *looks down* WHOA... um anyway a while ago I had a REALLY powerful dream, but usually they don't mean too much to me. I wish I could conrol my dreams...well I wish I could control real life as well. oh well.
Amos525
: According to Jewish tradition, still deeply respected in Orthodoxy but not widely accepted in the other branches, dreams have incredible significance and are viewed as Hashem's (lit. The Name) communications with man. Hashem sent Pharoah, a gentile, the dream of the seven cows and the seven ears of corn to show him that the years of abundance would come followed by years of famine. Dreams also came to many of the prophets and to Joseph, and before that the Patriarchs. The kabbalistic masters, Jewish mystics of great reknown, perfected religious approach to dreams and their interpretation. While their methods are too complex to go into here, as they require a great understanding of Kabbalah and its major work, the Zohar, there are some summary points. When Hashem speaks in dreams He speaks with symbols. These symbols can be broken down into two typesl: direct and indirect symbols. For example, the fat cows and fat ears of corn in Pharoah's dream were direct symbols. The birds eating the bread out of the baker's basket perched atop his head in Joseph's dream, foreshadowing the baker's being impaled and the birds eating his flesh, was an indirect symbol. Often these are mixed. In a dream sent by Hashem the main idea of the dream tends to be repeated so that the man gets the message that this is no ordinary dream but has been sent by Hashem. The man also awakes with the dream so real in his mind that it is as if he has lived it. A sign is left from the dream in the physical world. Rabbinic exegis teaches that an ear of corn appeared near Pharoah after his dream and that a loaf of bread appeared next to the baker when he had his dream, the one Joseph interpreted for him. Thus, the dream becomes both part of the spiritual/mental world and the physical world. Finally, dreams from Hashem do one of two things. They either prophesize or they are calls for the individual to do Hashem a service, whether it be prophesy or calling to increased study and faithfulness. The Baal Shem Tov, the founder of Chasidism, often received messages in his dreams, as did his disciples, and they saw them as guidance in their studies and in building their movement; a movement that started as just a few wayward ideas, not a plan to create an entirely new kind of Judaism. The dreams are credited with pushing them to do the latter. Even today in the Chasidic world dreams are much more important than they are in the rest of the Orthodox world. Outside of Orthodoxy, though, Jews tend to treat dreams as inconsequential because they have discarded the literal readings of Torah and Talmud that gave dreams credence.

: i interpert dreams b/c they have something to say for me they predict premonitions... it's sad but true, somethings can't be said and some can't be stopped

rockerbaby05

How do you feel about war?
(19 answers)
boxocereal
: I'll agree with xfallenxangel91x
xfallenxangel91x
: I believe that war is a fact of life. But I also believe that it should of course be avoided if possible.
lilpixiedez
: I think it is simply ridiculous
deelicious
: I feel that its wrong, people are so hypocritical when our mothers and fathers teach us that fighting is wrong and even the bible says do to others what you want them to do to you but yet when we turn 18 some men go to war, it's just wrong! There are other ways to solve problems...we all need to stop wars from happening, we are the future and it's only going to get worse if we just go along with what the "law" says we should do even though its wrong...
Elishar
: war is definently wrong but is sometimes neccesary to protect other people, even if it means giving your life in return. The last good war that was fought was WWII.
sweetlikecandy05
: its worthless and pointless.....its not worth killing inocent lives, like what does that accomplish?....its wrong and shouldn't go on....with all this hate, voilence etc, I think there will be war and soon..I just can't stand it or to think of it or that
jetjetters
: its terrible. i'm a pacifist. why do we have to kill eachother? what does that accomplish???
Woodstock2003
: What has become of the human gene pool...War is probably the greatest regression in the history of the world as well as ineffective solution to intramediate with prospective enemies...historically, there is incontravertable evidence that suggests that never once the officials asked the citizenry of a particular country what is the idealization of a government or economy that would best suit their needs and wants; alternatively we have implemented dignitaries that have extraordinary credentials in experience dealing with interntional relations and government. In addition to the aforementioned, we are impart to blame for some of the world's greatest atrocities-take for example when we supported Iraq in comnbatting Iran in the 1970's, they were seek liberalization as well to gain control of all the thresholds of petroleum in the Persian Gulf-but when inadvertantly supported the Iotoyla-the head of Iran, several of our military generals and other piviotal leadership were interrogated in discharged in Iran Contra(1986). Finally, war is not healthy for any life especially humans, we have ulterior motives of resolving some of these issues. Consequently, we as a nation have sold our country and comprimised dignity at the expense of colonization and maximization of profit-we are forcing an ideology on them that they for some time will not accept; that is why there is so much Anti-Americanism in the Middle East-in addition to support of Isreal. War is the byproduct of ignorance, self-conceitedness and gneralizations of a particular segment of society-for we have degraded our selves to the level of those totalitarian leaders-war leads to destruction and turmoil.
GIJane2003
: War is a fact of life. And necessary to ensure continued dominance.
Lord_Zathras
: Seems essential for human evolution - war goes on everywhere - It is useless though, I have no need for it - But it is one way of keeping the ever-growing world population down somewhat. ^_-
black-cat
: "I'm gonna buy a gun and start a war, If you can tell me something worth fighting for"
high_on_caffeine
: war doesnt solve anything.
artfearie
: war sucks, war is bad, war can just kiss my ass.... i don't know where that came from. i think that war is a terrible way to resolve things. it's just idiotic
bradensos
: I think war shows that people believe in different things and it is a crual period of time and history

Eowyn_Athena

BambiRambino47

Guest Jessiker

fyrebird
: Btw, thats for any of you who pick a rose.. ;) but black? dang..
black-cat
: daisies
fyrebird
: hmm thats hard.. yall are just picking colors.. why not look at the meaning behind it? A white rose stands for Innocence and Purity, I am Worthy of You, You're Heavenly. A Red = Love, respect and courage, Pink = Perfect Happiness, Grace and Joy, Please Believe Me. Dark Pink = Thankfulness. Black = evil or hate. Lavender = enchantment. Peach = modesty. Orange = Fascination, enthusiasm, desire. Yellow = Joy, Friendship, "try to care". Last but not lest, Red and White together = Unity. xfallenxangel91x

3rdwatch2jeter

deelicious

jd18
: bands & artists that sell-out.
artsymodel

Do you think young children should be able to listen to parental advisory music, watch rated R movies, watch TV shows w/ violence, sex, or other un-child like material?
(20 answers)
boxocereal
: How young is the question.
lilpixiedez
: if you discuss your opinion on the material and explain to them what happened so that they learn rather than interpret
xfallenxangel91x
: I believe that it really depends on the child and the situation
3rdwatch2jeter
: yea...i mean they're gonna be exposed to that kinda shit no matter wat. and whether they see it on tv or "learn" about it from other ppl may not even make a difference for most kids. at sum point kids will learn and sum will just take it and run w/ it. but its up to the parents to make sure that their kid knows wat they're seeing on tv or the things that go on w/ their friends or other kids at skool is wrong and no matter wat, they should never feel the need to resort to that kind of behavior.
fred_flintstoner
: There gunna learn sumtime
deelicious
: I agree i think they should sheltered children often turn out to rebel and see ive been exposed to all that i mean im not a saint but im a good person...i think parents dont talk to there kids like they should i mean weh n i was young my mom sat down and talked to me and my sister about stuff and i become very open with my mom about it so i know the meaning of right and wrong and when i was young my mom always corrected me if i was doing somthing wrong and that somthing parents now a days dont do either...
jd18
: i have been for as long as i can remember and i turned out okay, i think. haha.
naughtyd3vil
: yep, why sugarcoat stuff 4 them when they're only gonna find out the truth anyways. remember how devastated u were when santa, the tooth fairy, easter bunny didn't exist?
freaky16
: It depends on how old and how mature the child the is.
Death_Cloud
: who cares? they are going to learn it sometime
artfearie
: i use to watch movies like Terminator and I'm jsut fine *twitch* I say it's up to the parents and how mature the kid is.
Norma-Jean
: I guess it depends on the child.
Norma-Jean
: How young?
rogue_nymph
: sure. they're going to hear it eventually anyway
Isn't it annoying how some girls/guys can only like someone if they are "soooo hot!!!"?
(19 answers)
boxocereal
: Yes.
lilpixiedez
: meh...it happens in nature. the better looking animal attracts the opposite sex. it's just an instinct.
xfallenxangel91x
: I hate that. It's annoying and immature
freaky16
: It's extremely immature, just an excuse to get laid. It's annoying
Lord_Zathras
: I find it quite immature. Someone may have a body sexier than anyone elses... but they could be the most unimaginative, uncooth, unintelligent people out there who look at everyone as a lower life form - who knows WHAT you might find if you just look at someone's exterior features. You ought to look at someone's personality and thoughts - you might find a better match
high_on_caffeine

TheatreGodII

duckie13
: shallow.
artfearie
: yes, yes it does annoy me
Biscuit05

Norma-Jean
: I hate that.
rogue_nymph
: yeah. it's pretty annoying
xLittleMoneeGirlx
: yes! ...arghs... and sometimes they are so BUTT UGLY!

rogue_nymph

michelleflo
: hummm thats an interesting question..... I guess a passenger ... right now anyway
saki12387
: both
PabloHibiki
: I'd rather be a passenger. I do not wish to change the world. It frightens me to imagine having that much power. "Absolute power corrupts absolutely" and all that. The Volkswagen commercials says something like "On the road of life, there are passengers and drivers. Drivers wanted" Well now, they want drivers because what need does a passenger have for a car? Actually, in another life, perhaps I'd want to drive change but I have so much doubt about what I know to the point of letting life pass me by for what it's worth.
PRIMO
: passenger until i learn the basics.

Amos525
: Orthodox Judaism, of which I am a member, has a very developed angelology, in fact the kabbalists literally wrote thousands of pages defining exactly how the ranks of angels work, and the issue was even discussed in Talmud. Thus, Orthodoxy very strongly believes in angels. Every night when we go to bed we say the Bedtime Shema service, which includes our statement of faith, the Shema, and a number of other prayers. One prayer is that the four guardian angels, Michael, Uriel, Gabriel, and Raphael, who guard every person, guard us from all harm, one on each side, with G-d Himself guarding us form above. Interestingly enough, the major difference between Jewish and Christian views of the world of the angels, at least the most striking one, is that of the role of the Archangel Satan. Satan is viewed by Christianity as the fallen angel who leads evil and is fighting an eternal battle against heaven that will end with either his accepting divine authority or his being confined to exile in nothingness for eternity. In Judaism the idea that an angel could rebel against G-d and continue to have any power is considered strange. Satan is not considered to have ever fallen; instead he is a loyal servant of G-d, known as the Adversary, who tests human beings for G-d and prosecutes sinners in the courts of heaven after they die; the guardian angels, whom I mentioned earlier, serve as the defense. Since angels have great power invested in them by G-d it is not seen as strange that the guardian angels, all four, can surround and guard every man and that Satan can prosecute each person who dies. There is, however, a fallen angel in Judaism. This angel was one of two who came down to earth and fell in love with human women. Learning that offspring of angel and human woman would be terrible monsters, the Nephillim, one angel turned back and left his beautiful human wife. The other one, the evil angel Azael, did not. He was thus banished to a cave at the ends of the earth and was chained upside down in a cave. There all the demons, evil spirits, and many malevolent men came to learn his black arts, including Lillith, the first wife of Adam who was kicked out of Eden for pronouncing the Name. She is not mentioned in Torah, but is mentioned in mystic works. She lives forever, since she ate of the Tree of Life, and rejoices in the evil of the world. However, Azael and Lillith have no real power compared to G-d and while they rejoice at man's sins they are not responsible for them, rather sin is the result of men choosing their own wills over the will of Hashem.

xfallenxangel91x

freddish

artsymodel

People put more faith in themselves and their possessions than anything else sometimes. Isn't that sad?

lilpixiedez

xfallenxangel91x

lilpixiedez

deelicious

just_another_happy_junkie

Do you believe in some form of an afterlife? Why or why not?
(31 answers)
boxocereal
: Not really.
lilpixiedez
: yes. my house is haunted. the things that go on here can't be ignored.
xfallenxangel91x
: I'm not really sure anyone. Everything that I once believed is now in question.
Eowyn_Athena

sonja_belle
: Since I believe in GOD, I have to believe in an after life
rebob
: I belive in Heaven so yeah.
fyrebird
: Why do you think its called death? We die and we rot in the ground..in a few years all thats left is bones. And then I'm guessing soon that goes too.
HottieHallie
: ....i'm gonna get into a deep topic here....i believe in god...but...it makes me think sometimes. can you truthfully believe that after you die, you'll stand in some line and either go to heaven or go to hell, and then you'll either be all happy and have everything you wanted, and fly around looking at people, or live in a pit of fire, which is all dependant on how you acted during your life? it seems kinda strange. and where exactly is heaven and hell? dontcha think the planes would hit angels when flying? lol. ionno. confusing subject, it is.
duckie13
: that is my worst fear...is after death. i can not speak of it, or i will cry, and get extreeeemely frightened.
Death_Cloud
: No there is nothing after this life. Why does everyone think that you HAVE to go somewhere? Do you people ever think about WHERE you were BEFORE you were born? You can't exactly say...where did your mind and thoughts come from? I believe it will be the same as before we were born. You will not know you're dead, you won't know anything. There is no such place as Heaven or Hell, so get over it and stop depending on some image that you can't even identify as being real. Being dependent is being weak. Isn't believing in YOURSELF enough???
michelleflo
: yeah i believe in God ...soooo... yeah
bibabe85

KathrBean

Tom_Rudder

flounder

Hottiegirl2002

Niam

Won't somebody please, please, tell me? Why does it have to be black or white? Why do we have to hurt one to love another? Sorry. Restless Heart.

What song has had the biggest impact on you? How/why?
(19 answers)
boxocereal
: Imagine by John Lennon.
xfallenxangel91x
: Beautiful by Christina Aguilera, I Will Remember You by Sarah McLachlan, Cassie by Flyleaf, Fully Alive by Flyleaf, and I can't really think of anyothers.
freddish
: Four songs right now are having a big impact on me. The first two are "Parabol"/"Parabola" by Tool, it just inspires me to... well... "recognise this as a holy gift and celebrate this chance to be alive and breathing" and it makes me remember that "we are eternal, all this pain is an illusion". Another song that's been impacting me lately is "Forty-six & 2" by Tool, because it's just an amazing song, and so completely complex, and it's about the evolution from 42 and 2 chromosomes to our current 44 and 2 chromosomes, to the future of 46 and 2 chromosomes, when we will be like cells in a body; all individual, but all one conciousness. And it's about the shadow, which is everything negative in you that you don't see... "i wanna know what i've been hiding in my shadow", and how we have to step through, or into the shadow to reach 46 and 2 "hoping i can clear the way by stepping through the shadow, coming out the other side. Step into the shadow, 46 and 2 are just ahead of me" and the last one is "Lateralus" by Tool, just because... well, read the lyrics: "Black then white are all I see, in my infancy. Red and yellow then came to be, reaching out to me. Lets me see. As below, so above and beyond I imagine, drawn beyond the lines of reason. Push the envelope. Watch it bend. Over thinking, over analyzing seperates the body from the mind. Withering my intuition, missing opportunities and I must feed my will to feel this moment drawing way outside the line. Black then white are all I see in my infancy. Red and yellow then came to be, reaching out to me. Lets me see there is so much more and beckons me to look through to these infinate possibilities. As below, so above and beyond, I imagine drawn outside the lines of reason. Push the envelope. Watch it bend. Over thinking, over analyzing seperates the body from the mind. Withering my intuition leaving all these opportunities behind. Feed my will to feel this moment urging me to cross the line. Reaching out to embrace the random. Reaching out to embrace whatever may come. I embrace my desire to feel the rhythm, to feel connected enough to step aside and weep like a widow, to feel inspired, to fathom the power, to witness the beauty, to bathe in the fountain, to swing on the spiral of our divinity and still be a human. With my feet upon the ground I lose myself between the sounds and open wide to suck it in, I feel it move across my skin. I'm reaching up and reaching out, I'm reaching for the random or whatever will bewilder me. And following our will and wind we may just go where no one's been. We'll ride the spiral to the end and may just go where no one's been. Spiral out. Keep going, going..." yes. Very inspirational songs, all of them. All of Tool's songs are inspirational.

To stand up to what you believe in and not give in to the pressuring society, especially when your life is on the line, is amazing! And what gets me the most is the whole movie was based on actual occurrences that happened in history. I had never cried so much over a movie, but the funny thing is that i wasn't crying b/c of his death and all he wanted was to have a family and be happy (well that too) but... how firm he stood with his belief of freedom.
