He did so much for the whole world, not just Catholics, and helped bridge the gap between Catholics and other faiths. Even though I'm Catholic, I'd still care if the Dalai Lama or some other spiritual leader died. Even though I'm Catholic, I know several Rabbis, and recently one of them died. Should I not have cared just because he's Jewish?
