: in some ways, yes, but in some ways I am proud of us.

: Why be ashamed of someone you are not. However, it is quite shocking (and at times disgusting/depressing/appaling) to see how kids are being raised these days. I often see younger girls pass by with their cut-off shirts and low-rise pants, giggling away at some remark that was obviously ahead of their time. I often ask myself, "Was I like that when I was a kid?"

: Ashamed? No. Disappointed? Often. But the youth are supposed to be dumb and young. If kids can't be stupid, who can? If they're still stupid when they grow up, then we have a problem. I'll hold off judgement until then.

: I think for the most part, yes. Kids are so wrapped up in trying to be cool and trying to look cool. There's way too much drug abuse and alcoholism than there should be. I don't think many people have values anymore.
