Ancient religions attempted to preserve useful knowledge for future generations, and there was unity in the systems of religious, philosophical and scientific thought...something that our fractured western world could do with a lot more of--unification. However, over time people forget the true meanings of the symbolism and allegory that these ancient religions use to communicate some relevant point...and then you have a bunch of dissociated fools debating useless mythologies with absolutely no value morally, spiritually, or intellectually. Basically religion is entirely useless unless you understand the history and guiding principles behind sacred texts.  touch_me_not: I'm not. On one hand, investigators claim that the handwriting, notpad stationary, and felt tip pen used to write the ransom note match those found in the Ramsey home. On the other hand, the footprints, DNA, and broken windows lead someone to believe that there was an intruder. I guess I'm sort of partial on it; but I do feel that the media was a huge part of why the Ramseys were accused for so long and so hard. Yet one can't help but wonder, if they were capable of subjecting JonBenet to beauty pageants and such, who's to say that her parents weren't capable of murdering her? However, I was fully into pot for around 2 years, I got too far into it and made myself quit because I was starting to get messed up. I'd like to try acid and Ketamine.  Supernova11-7: I like to puff the sweet sweet cheeba and eat magikal mushrooms every now and then. Occassional social drinking is also enjoyable. Poppers are ok (nitrous) but over too soon. Stimulants suck.. I've never done hard hallucinigens, though I'll probably try cid some day... Ecstacy is gorgeous, but makes you hideous if you use it regularly. Tobacco is horrible. Don't Do Crack. Heroin makes you die. And the reason why people do drugs is because they want to challenge reality--and that is truly the highest mental activity.  touch_me_not: I found some acid stamps in the attic of my old house and I popped those. It was like, last year or something. That's a serious ****ing A trip right there. I do a little pot here and there, but I'm a smoker so I try to cut down on my drugs.
