xfallenxangel91x
: no
AusCav
: You might argue that Love itself is a symbol, like in a Platonic sense where we all have an ideal concept and ultimate form of Love that we aspire to reach and we see aspects of that symbolised in the person we love.
CKRme
: no
Karmacoma177
: no i'm not that mushy......and i don't have a girlfriend
Twlights_child

beverlyhills90210
: i did. i sware.. i thougt i was in love. his symbol was a heart that was orange, for his fav color. his football number was 22 and i put a line comming from the litte end part of the heart, and the added another 2 comming all the way from the middle back down to where the other 2 was. i drew that sighn like.. every day!

lilgcbabexX
: a monkey.. its a long story tho, rather not tell it...
itsjustso_qool
: well, because of his haircut, my friends and I call my crush Chicken Face
cloe06
: we call my crush boogers, cuz his hair looks like boogers. we used to call him green cuz his hair was green
Moominsummermadness
: Well, when I did love someone, I considered him to be a "rainbow" because he was elusive, beautiful, a mixture of joy and melancholy, and other attributes. Ironically, he turned out to be gay!
Do you feel as though your creativity has improved or diminished as a result of your recent education? Why do you think this is?
(25 answers)
boxocereal
: I don't know.
JOKER
: FOR MY CREATIVE INFULANCE PLEASE SEE HARDCOREMIGITPORN.COM
tessalation04
: *=)
tessalation04
: Ehhh not really. +p
tessalation04
: Creativity is something that i think should be nurtured in the class room and out. Not all students are "smart" the book way.
xfallenxangel91x
: I believe that some people (especially teachers) discourage creativity and individuality so I guess my answer would be education has severely diminished most creativity.
CKRme
: Sometimes. Ive noticed that when Im in school I write poetry more often than in the summer
Rivergem
: Improved. Learning inspires creativity, at least I think so....
Purple_Princess
: My lyrics are much better. I normally draw inspiriation from how I feel, and it's harder for me to write happy songs, so I went through a dry period 'cause I'm in a good, happy place with my life now. And then I realised I could draw lyrics from the world around me, it's fdar from being a painless place. So my political and social education has helped, yeah.
Zencentricity
: Deffinately diminished. Everything I do is limited by someone else's opinion.
WildChild18
: I went to Secondary school in britain and it was bad. All the teachers were so concerned with their schools performance in academic subjects that creativity was completely ignored. My creativity was definately diminished as well as me confidence. Now i'm at uni we are encouraged to speak our own minds and be creative in the way we do it.
Malinka
: I know for a fact that school drains me of anything creative or related to self thought. School in general, I think, is bad for my overall health.
JOKER
: DEMINISHED I ALSO HAVE NO ENTHUISIAM IN LIFE THE ONLY REASON I DONT TOP MY SELF IS CUZ IT SEEMS 2 MUCH LIKE HARD WORK
mattattitude
: Yes I have alot, and its got knuffing to do with college. Its because most of the time I m alway alone and no want not much to do with me. So all i can do to take out my anger is to draw
PabloHibiki
: It feels like schools punish creativity. They don't care what you say or do as long as you do it their way.
angelchicka
: uhhhh........
thedj49sgirl
: diminished... because they dont let you freewrite you have to do it over a set topic
GIJane2003
: Creativity? I am not very creative anywayz so I couldn't say.
cloe06
: diminished.. cuz we have to follow guidelines, and my personality has no bounds... if we follow the examples, what to make it my own?
Moominsummermadness
: Mine has diminished, because we are no longer encouraged to be creative - only to study other people's work and theories, and even then, we have to learn what other critics say about them rather than come up with our own interpretations.

ominousguy
: if it weren't for a couple events during the 80s, i wouldn't even be here now.
edge324
: I don't really remember them. I was born in '86. But the '80s music I hear really sucks.
Toecutter
: The eighties were great! Motorcycle styling improved, the IROC-Z Camaro and Buick Grand National were introduced. Also, classic rock was still somewhat in style, along with t-shirts and jeans (those that actually fit, and don't sag to your knees like the scum wear today). I would've had a great time, had I been born a decade eariler.
morrigirl
: I love the 80's, back when pop music was GOOD!!!!
sassylatina16
: I was born In The 80'S SO WouLDn't reMembEr!
Moominsummermadness
: The 80's weren't scary! The 70's were sinister! Everything was lovely and bright in the 80's - the music, the cartoons, the clothes...:)
haveuguessedyet
: aaaahhhh, it's not all bad...i mean, i was born in the 80's so it couldn't have been ( :
GIJane2003
: I like some things about it. The television was good. I wish I still had my Atari. Oh, to be a kid again.
Which is the most tasteless decade?
(47 answers)
boxocereal
: I don't know.
springbreaker
: Last half of the 1970's=disco=Satan aka KC & the Sunshine band :)
Autumn_Embers_Fall
: Oh those multi-neon coloured windbreakers from the 90's, oh boy!
PurifiedFilth88
: I dont really think any decade has been completely tasteless
xfallenxangel91x
: When it comes to fashion I'd have to say the 60's.
AusCav
: How can those people say 70s!!! The 90s was the lamest, tasteless decade.
johnners
: 70's
CKRme

Karmacoma177

Twlights_child

Ranma1

BabyPaws

Tinkerbell2005

Bobsangel0284
: I personally think the 90's (no offence 90's!!)
Radioactive-Cat
: meh...the 'naughties'...no doubt about it...the age of comercialized crap and real-life tv shows...
phhs_dyke
: I'd probably have to say the 90's...or maybe from 95-05 heh. Yes I'm aware we're not there yet.
THESIUS
: The 80's are the most tasteless and disposable of decades in the 20th century. During that time period music began regressing. A typical band consisted of a cheesy beat made on a machine overlayed with untalented keyboard playing. The vocalist had to have an English accent and when necessary often times faked it to become a star. As for rock, what was up with the make up and spandex, not to mention the big hair and the music they played sounded like they were all trying to rip off Led Zeppelin. Thank god that decade is over.
PabloHibiki
: I think it's kind of funny to see so many people dissing the 80s. Most of them were what, about 4 when the decade ended? I think the 90s was tasteless. It was shaped by little more than greed. The only type of music that could be said to shape the 90s was "Alternative" but as the nineties went on, alternative to what? Alternative music became big in 1992. 1992 was a pivotal year across the board. Rodney King was a big issue and rap music gained a following among "young people". It was an election year and George Bush was alienating the "young people" because he said he understood them and was complaining about rap music. The politicans were complaining about Ice T's Cop Killer the most. That year MTV tried something new. They started Rock the Vote, which tried to get young people to vote. Bill Clinton went on Arsenial Hall and played his sax and young people related to his "smoked by didn't inhale" speech. That in itself is kind of funny considering all of the sex scandels involving the President. What do you expect from a guy that admits getting high? (Oops, maybe I shouldn't vent like this)
unwantedchloe
: The 90's. The music sucked
Incognito1
: this one. hah.
PabloHibiki
: the nineties.
sassylatina16

: the 80's. the fashion was..well absolutely terrible..and so was the music!
GIJane2003
: The 80's were pretty bad. How they dressed was awful. Cool to them, but looking back at it, I can't believe I used to dress like that when I was young.
blueyonder
: this one :(
viperchick
: Truley sorry dan....... THE 80'S SUCKED!! Bad cars, bad hair, bad clothes, bad music...... sheesh.
GIJane2003
: I hate Hippies.
diacetylmorphine
: the 80s...dont get me wrong...i like the 80s...but the clothes..the clothes..
Moominsummermadness

Are your parents overprotective?
(51 answers)
Angel2Devil2Friend
: Yes
boxocereal
: No.
Trixie_18
: no actually they could care less
xfallenxangel91x
: When it comes to certain things they can be very overprotective but when it comes to others I'd say they're very lax. So I guess it all depends on the situation.
CKRme
: not really
abercrombieaddict
: YES!
Twlights_child
: yeah I would say so
WildChild18
: Not at all. My mum is like my friend. She'll give me advice and help me out. She only gives out rules when she really sensibly has to.

Do you get more cynical, the older you get?
(30 answers)
boxocereal
: I don't know.
xfallenxangel91x
: I think it depends on the person but personally I have gotten more cynical as the very few years of my life roll on.
AusCav
: Who cares? Getting older is just getting closer to death, which is better than this terrible terrible life... oh, don't mind me, I'm just cynical. (It's because I'm getting old)
CKRme
: I dont know what that means
Rivergem
: Depends on the person...
rufussy*
: No, I think I used to be more cynical than I am today. Kind of miss it, though, that good ol' cynisicm.
thedj49sgirl
: yes i think so
cloe06
: yea. my teacher think im the most sarcastic person he knows... thats really sad. but what can i say, this is the age of cynicism.
phhs_dyke
: Yes
PabloHibiki
: Absolutely. After high school, you think you know EVERYTHING but you don't. The mark of a true enlightened person is to realize what you don't know and do something about it. I don't but that is what is supposed to happen. I realize I actually know very little but it really isn't worth the effort because everything seems to be trivial.
ominousguy
: i think i've peaked...
lizwicker
: yea i think so
PabloHibiki
: Yes, very much so.
blueyonder
: Er.... big word....need processing.........no. lol
viperchick
: old people smell funny
haveuguessedyet
: I try not to as best I can, but with me, once Ive been burned, I usually dont feel the same after that...but that was always there, it didnt really come with age.
unobtrusive
: Eh, I am.. but maybe thats because Ive given up on too many things in the past.. and yes, prestent..
GaRbAgEgLaM
: I think everyone does a little because your mind can easily elaborate on evil ideas; however, I avoid them now...so nah, Im not cynical.
GIJane2003
: I would say that I am very cynical.
antisocial
: i hope not
Mili-Mite
: I dont know, do you?
Moominsummermadness
: I have. And I'm only 17!!
I've been quite evil recently...not caring about bad things I hear on the news...not being bothered by an enemy of mine being seriously injured. How do I become less evil and more like my old, nicer self?
(26 answers)
boxocereal
: Hmm..
springbreaker
: say to yourself... what would jesus do? then do the exact farkin opposite... BE the anti-christ :)
Autumn_Embers_Fall
: Don't do anything, who says that evil is a bad thing...?
xfallenxangel91x
: Antidepressants; they've always worked for me! =D
CKRme
: I dont know
Rivergem
: That is stupid. You know you are being wrong so do something about it, there isn't a 'how', just do it.
MisterE

thedj49sgirl
: pray??
phhs_dyke
: Get rid of whatever's blocking that part of you that cares.
rose123
: sounds like u need some fun. take a shopping spree,go to a club, or take a vacation
unwantedchloe
: I'm a bit like that. If it hasn't happened near me, I really couldn't care less. The wars in Africa, or whereever they are, are bad and everything, but I really couldn't "give a tiny rats ass" as they say in friends...
lizwicker

Before I moved to Niceville, I grew up with those people and that was all I knew and suddenly we moved. I don't know what happened to over 90% of them. I managed to talk to one and she said that the only people she knew what happened to them was from the news when one was arrested or something. That's so sad. When I think back to them, they looked so innocent. Everything seems so innocent back then.
