	1982: Maybe, it'll be hard though, even if it's known will happen, to prevent it from happening would be a completely different matter. the plane was hijacked, adn the only way to stop it was to shoot the plane, but international treaties don't allow shooting down civil aircrafts, that only hapens in the movies.

He wanted to finish his father's job---there was an obvious vendetta against Saddam (regardless of the fact that he may well have been someone that needed to get shot repeatedly). Oil interests alone would overrule intelligence mentioning that there really was no just cause for a war. Further more, even just a loose look at the possible effects of such a descision should have enough to cause the "president" to choose NOT to go to war with Iraq. We have lost infinetly more than we have gained, especially with the worldwide community---and at home in the states, there is going to be another fucked up "lesser of two evil" elections this year. All in all a whole shitstorm of a mess that could be rambled on about for hours and hours, so I'll stop now, lol.

	Mandy_Jane: I'm not living in the past, I'm living in the present, if you haven't noticed, this is current events, try any online news site and it will be the top story, and it directly affects this nation and particularily the elections in the fall

	Mandy_Jane: Yes, I do believe that 9/11 could have been prevented if our president wasn't such a dumbass. Clarke, who was the counterterrorism coordinator in the Bush and Clinton administrations, recently released a book called "Against All Enemies" claiming the Bush administration ignored intelligence information with which they could have prevented 9/11. Bush ignored any attempts made by any political figures to encourage him to take action to prevent 9/11. In fact, one such political figures wrote him a letter on September 3rd, asking him how he would feel if there was a terrorist attack because he ignored this information. I don't know about you guys, but I'm really starting to wonder if Bush is more than just a moron, and if he is, in fact, just out to make his political career, no matter how many people had to die in terrorist attacks, just so he could declare and unjust and totally unrelated war, so he could be a war president, because he knew damn well he wouldn't get re-elected any other way. Let's hope to God he doesn't get re-elected anyways, because not only is he incredibly stupid, but also careless and just all around a bad president.

When my dad totalled her car (it was brand new--3 weeks old) it seemed like a horrible thing, but luckily it was completely insured and it's just like they never had it at all, and then they didn't have a car payment anymore....which was very good when, within a couple weeks, my mom lost her job, so they can no longer afford a car payment....weird huh? stuff like that always happens, sometimes it seems like something bad happened, but it happens for a reason, although God's methods may be mysterious

	Mandy_Jane: I think the principles I would establish would be somewhat utopian, but mostly if I could have my way everyone would work a normal full time job, to keep the wheels of the society running, but then we would all pitch in any extra money we make to just help each other out, and that everyone would love their neighbors and nobody would cause any trouble, and everyone would pull their weight and be happy with their lives and not try to step on each other's backs to get to "the top" or whatever, and I guess the goals would just be to be happy, and to have fun spending time with other people, and to get along with everyone...yeah right like that could ever happen...but it would be cool if you could only let people who want to love everybody else into the society, and then hopefully nobody turns renegade, and maybe it could stay like that...ha...dream on.......................................... (okay, I will!)

	car16leen: well, its the moon...and its mars...i'd only take a select few- probably ones i trust- say do whatever the hell you want- we wont' have guns or any self destructive weapons...and when the big meteor comes and slams into the colony and we all die- the end!

	invader_tech: First off, it would NOT be for military use (whenever the government gets their hands on something, it usually goes to the military first...) Anyways, i would use a small sum of the surface for holding nuclear power plants and beam the energy to earth through microwaves, so that earth wouldn't have to worry about pollution from fossil fuels anymore... thennnnn, i could use it for the developement of adequate housing under huge domes, and so that we could test how living conditions would be. i really cant think of much at the moment... Maybe use it for developing commercial spacecraft as well...

	love_amor_chica: no not really, rollercoasters, merry go rounds and etc go in a long but endless cycle. Life is very unpredictable and never repeats itself, and it eventually does end.

	Mandy_Jane: I guess you have to work in a restaurant to truly appreciate the silverware roller, if you've ever had to roll it you would know how incredibly useful it would be...I believe everyone should work in a restaurant for at least 6 months of their lives, for one thing so that someone can come up with this little machine, but also so people can freakin learn how to tip!! also, everyone should have to work in retail too, and they can learn how to be more considerate shoppers, and actually hang their shit up in the dressing rooms, i've been through that too and I hated having to clean up the dressings rooms...people can be so rude, it's just amazing! Oh yeah and I've been informed by a friend that washing/drying combo machines to exist but they are too terribly expensive for anyone to buy them or something....

	Mandy_Jane: I'm just going to copy and paste a little rant with which I responded to another Bush question in someone else's Q&A cuz it really emphasizes my point and my beliefs about Bush...oh and I was responding to a couple pro-bush comments that he is a Christian (what and that's supposed to make him holy or something?) and something about Gore not having been able to be sympathetic at 9/11....so here goes, PASTING: *************************** yes...well the religion thing is just one of the MANY problems with Bush....this is a country founded on freedom of speech and freedom of religion...I'm a Christian and I would like everyone to be so we could all go to heaven and all be happy, but I'm not going to use my presidency to enforce my beliefs on others...and I'm sure not gonna use my presidency to finish carrying out my daddy's war which failed the first time....and I'm sure not gonna use it to give tax breaks to the wealthy and plummet our country into further financial problems....and the list goes on, he's a bad president and he does stupid things with his presidency...yes maybe Gore wouldnt be the most sympathetic guy, and maybe we just need a better democratic candidate to kick bush's from here to afganistan, but there wouldn't be nearly so much comforting or whatnot to have been done if not for Bush getting us into this stupid war....there would have been 9/11 yes (although some debate that Bush actually knew about that and didn't stop it so he could start this war...but that's a little out there...) but we would have gotten through 9/11 and we would have moved on and not gotten into this dumb ass war, and this economic hardship, and all these other problems Bush has caused...yes it's good that Saddam is captured, but we sure could have done that without a war, and aren't we missing the big point...BIN LADEN is the one who attacked us on 9/11, not saddam...what ever happened to bin laden?? nobody seems to care cuz Bush brainwashed everyone to go after Iraq and Saddam instead....you all who are Bush supporters are just many of the brainwashed....I wish everyone would do a little research and find out all the stupid things Bush has done as president and you might be thinking twice about supporting him....
