	butter_head2: i'm an atheist...i haven't seen any evidence disproving gods existence but at the same time i also haven't seen any evidence proving his existence. theres no trace of his existence watsoever, so y bother believing in sumthing or sum1 that realli may have not even been there in the first place. i grew up going to chruch and all that kinda shit cuz my mom is very religious and i never bought into the whole "god is greater and better than everything else on this earth" bullshit.

	Arpit: I am in Atheist, and I dont believe in god, I dont argue about his existence but I do go to temples, church, mosque if any friend of mine asks me to. I have developed a small liking for you based on your question so I will bend my rules and take your challenge. There is one German Word that describes god best- Weltanscauung-it means an intellectual construction which gives a unified solution of all the problems of our existence in virtue of a comprehensive hypothesis, a construction, therefore, in which no question is left open and in which everything in which we are interested finds a place. God had formed the stablest Weltanschauung known to men ever for first 1600years of ADs before Gallileo and Newton came and completely shook the very notion of a god controlled world. Einstein(a firm believer of god himself), Darwin, Heisenberg, Scrodinger, Sigmund Freud and currently Sir hawking and Mike Green among others are completing the task. Not only has science made more sense than the stupid notion that we are just pieces on a chessboard, and we move as god wills us to move. Every step, every inch, every motion of stars, every bit of energy is trying to be accounted for. And we have been successful, but that is scientific side, that is destroying the notion of a God controlled world. Even without science I wouldnt have believed in god, the spiritual argument therefore is also needed. Spirituality doesnt necessarily have to do with god, well one of my own created sayings go-'You believe in god, I believe in people, You believe in strength of prayer, I believe in strength of heart' I think that is clear enough, but even than- umm what are the times you remember god- when you are down and out? (ok I know you are going to say not necessarily-I will come to that too dont worry) well I think not looking towards heavens but inside yourself, you can find all the strength you can ever require. I believe instead of trying to be god's ideal servant if I try to help a couple of people I will be better off. Whats the other time you remember god? to thank him? Here I am a bit arrogant, when I never asked him for help, when I can not see any effect he had had on my success or whatever good-why should I thank some invisible force, whose effect is oblivious? So instead I chose to thank all those who offered helping hand!! 	Julie18nz: Personally I believe that the God that Christians call God, along with most otehr religions gods, came about from mans basic fear of death and the unknown. I have never ever knocked anyone for believing in a God, its their life, adn if it makes it better for them to believe, then so be it. Each to their own :) A fair amount of 'wonders' in the Old Testament, like most accient religions, can be explain away with a little common sence, ie: the tower of Babel. The main difference I find between me and the overly religious, is that I dont try to force ME beleifs down THEIR throats. If you want to believe in a God, fine. If you choose not to, that should be fine as well. I am not going to go into great depth here as to what I beleive and dont believe, there just isnt enough room, but if you want, you can email me and I will gladdly answer your questions :)

	linkinhottie07: btw, i meant bread* up there for my mom..not break lol.. anyways heres the second one. there was a high school reunion two years after i graduated, so i went to it. only it was hald at my elemtary school. and teveryone is in the cafeteria partying and there was this drunk guy who tried to kiss me so i left and went outside. and outside there was this hut thing, that people i picked on in school were sittin in. And i talked to them and became friend with them, but before i went up to the hut, i went to that bathroom in the cafeteria. and while i was sitting in the hut, i realized i left my 200$ purse in the bathroom.. so i had a couple people from the hut follow me down to the bathroom to get it ..(because there was this freaky guy standing by the door), ok so were going down the hall and theres a wall seperating the staircase from the bathroom door. so the other people sat down on the stair case and was waiting for me there. so i keep walking and right when i reach the bathroom dorr, that same freaky guy was standing there ,,,but his face had changed. he had a green face and like a hippie style afro going on. he started staring at me so i started to turn around and me was follwoing me, still staring at me, i reach the staircase and im about to tell them to help me, when the freaky guy waves his hand in a circle, and puts a wall up in front of the stair case so my friends couldnt help me. and then he backed me into the corner by the staircase.i tried to scream but he took my voice away, i couldnt make any noises. and then all of a sudden i started floating. i was floating up to the ceiling above him... so i moved across the ceiling to what appeared to be a ceiling fan , but it was a fan that had cow bells on it. (LOL)..and he was standing there looking up at me saying he was going to kill me...so i tried to bend the coqbells and break them to make some noise, but he turned them silent too and they didnt make any noise...so i was thinking to myself "this guy is going to kill me! what the hell do i do???" and then as he started waling towards me i screamed, but nothing came out, and for some reason i told myself to open my eyes, and when i finally did, i woke up and i was still screaming..............yeah thats a fucked up dream.. i hhave dreams like this all the time and i dont know why

Don�t get me wrong, I DO believe in justice big time. I believe in LIFE in PRISON without parole. In a way it�s worse I think to live life in prison with your thoughts eating away at you. I believe 2 rights don�t make a right. I think the Death Penalty is very hypocritical. They kill people to show killing is wrong. I�ve seen the studies too. More poor people get the death penalty because they can�t afford a good defense. People who have Mental Retardation, and Mental illness have gotten/still get the Death Penalty. Even if it was morally right the system isn�t fair. Also too many INNOCENT people have been put to death. In Texas there was a crooked D.A.�S, and forensics department, and now they are going through 100's of files to reinvestigate them. DNA evidence is freeing people left and right as well. I think people who are FOR the death penalty are JUST AS BAD as the murderers maybe not in deed bit in intention. I take this issue very seriously, and I get quite heated and emotional about it. It makes me not want to live in a society with it. You CAN�T have it BOTH ways. Because to be for the Death Penalty is yes to be for the execution of the guilty, BUT you are also FOR the execution of the innocent too. You really are. Why? Because this system is based on human reasoning as well, and ALL humans (The Government Too) make MISTAKES. You may say, �Well Ed, seriously how many times does that happen?� Well JUST 1 time is TOO MANY, and does the government get penalized? No not really. How would you like to be the family of someone who was WRONGLY executed? At least with life in prison they can somewhat fix their mistake. YOU CANNOT bring someone back too life after putting them to death wrongly. Even if someone is TRULY guilty its wrong too. If you are CHRISTIAN, and for the death penalty, then that is just EVIL. It�s HYPOCRITICAL. JESUS WAS AGAINST THE DEATH PENALTY. When they were going to stone the girl for adultery Jesus could�ve stoned her (he was without sin) but he didn�t.
