There is an isalnd, somewhere in the middle of the ocean, uncharted, unknown. Every now and then a great animate fog rises up from the shore and encompasses the sea for miles. Soon after, a ship is lost from the world, and is now the property of the island. The island devours the ship, pulling it under the waves, down into and through the sand to a pocket underground. It is very dark, but near-unbearably hot. This island is a volcano, but not just any volcano, it's an inhabited volcano. There are those that live inside. There are Seven levels, great and expansive, each one with rooms to the power of Seven, all circled around the center conduit of the volcano. Around this conduit, there is a green glow that almost seems to soldify at a point to form a sort of barrier, which is twisted into tubes and tunnnels which spiral up from the hottest depths of the earth, up towards the throat of the volcano. This spiraling green barrier seems to magically harness the power of the volcano, while leaving the populated areas "safe" from destruction. It seems a mystery as of yet, what is this barrier composed of? At the surface, the fog dissipates, and the skies are clear to the horizon. The land is curious. Black, lifeless soil, soft like talc domniates the land in dunes. There does not seem to be a single creature or plant in sight. Suddenly there is motion. Two figures walk out of a shadow in the dunes across the dark terrain wrapped sparsely in a sheer black garment. At this point the sun has comedown to meet the horizon and reddened black clouds fill a crimson sky. The two figures lay on the shore as a strange light-consuming shadow seems to be expelled from their bodies and consecutively imploding to wrap around them and devour them into a single shadowy object hovering up from the ground to zoom swiftly away as the sky turns to a star-speckled black and fades away towards the center of the volcano. It seems impossible to follow, because when approaching too closely to the flank of the volcano, an eerie green glow erupts over it and blocks any entry. If it was possible to get through, and move to the summit of the volcano, more of the eerie green glow would be seen, this time erupting, almost in place of any magma, but floating upwards and dissipating rather than spilling out. Upon entering, the first level is visible. It is vast and fires cover the walls. It seems to be a great bowl-like chamber topped with the shape of a dome that is opened up at the top for the vent of the volcano and at the bottom where the spiraling green glowing structure comes through and extends up. At the rim of the bowl there is a ledge that circles all around the entire chamber. from this ledge there ar 7 narrow bridges that meet in the center at a much smaller circular area that is affixed to the green structure in the center. Spread evenly around the walls at the outskirts of the outmost ledge, are tunnels that lead back into quarters that have a primitive family of beasts which squirm and crawl all around the smaller chambers within this level. Only a few of these tunnels seem to become staircases that descend to the second level. Here it seems to mimic the shape of the upper level, but the halls are filled with even more gruesome monster-like beasts. Descending further, down another tunnel with stairs, is a third level. This third level is alike with monsters, but these monsters have absolutely humongous proportions, each commanding swarms of tiny flesh-devouring creatures. Level four is different. Level four is cavernous with giant cages spread everywhere.Insidethese cages are dirty, starved, clotheless people. Some ofthem are missing limbs. Some of them are mutilated beyond recognition. Some are only corpses, and are actually being torn apart by other prisoners who have resorted to cannibalism. Beyond all of these cages there is a great fiery pit. In this pit there are countless devilish devices keen on inflicting the utmost pain on anyone that they are used on. Screams of agony and fear fill the caves, while laughing grunts come from giant masked beasts that tend to the torture of their victims. At the end of the caves, past another horde of the small flesh-devouring creatures lies another staircase. On the fifth level there seems to be a more refined mix of beastly and humanoid races adept at all levels of dark magic.Descending again to the sixth level, there are both human-like and beast-like occupants, but all of them seem somewhat civilized,or at least well-mannered, and even lordly. None of them seem to be monstrous by nature, but maybe still genetically gruesome, while others are quite beautiful. Each seems to have a purpose, dark in origin, but a purpose nonetheless. The Seventh level is quite empty, compared to the other six, but it is the most expansive of any. The green glowing struture that sliced through the center of the other levels seems to be split around this level, leaving the center of the chamber empty, if it were not for great chains hanging from the ceiling that held a titanic stone floor above the bottom of the chamber where the green glowing structure melded back together into the ground. On this floating floor there are seated two figures. These are the same two figures that were on the shore at the surface. Upon a closer look, their identities become clear,and it is known that they are my Queen and myself.
