	carsex: I am homeschooled, I think it is very excellent and as for all the social life remarks. Well, you have to get out on your own anyways to become social and school just makes kids want to have their own special group instead of being involved with everyone. I do believe homeschooling is a great opportunity for any children and you get your own schooling hours that you work around to fit your time. I wouldn't change being homeschooled at all.

	bassbaby: no i go to high school and it sucks but i go becaus it helps me have social skills and it teaches poeople how to deal with people who you do not like and can not get along with if i ever have kids they will have to go to school homeschool is not a good thing

	spacesex: I am homeschooled. It is really awesome, and has alot of perks. You can work at your own pace and you get alot more done. Some people even finish school earlier than their peers. It has alot of plus sides to it, but it also has its cons.

Which is why I haven't tried it until now, and probably will rarely do it in the future. But it's no worse than alcohol or cigarrettes, in my opinion, it's safer than alcohol, and no one seems to have a problem having a drink now and then. Just because something isn't healthy doesn't mean we outlaw it. If that was the case, cheeseburgers, tanning salons and alcohol would all be illegal. But they aren't, and it's not a big deal if you do them once and a while. Same with pot.

	Eowyn_Athena: It's alright to a point. If you have something VERY wrong with you, I don't have a problem with it. But if you're normal looking, and you do it to make yourself gorgeous, I think it reinforces the idea that self-worth is based on the physical. You should be happy with the face and body you've been given, as long as it's natural and you're doing your best to take care of it. I don't like buying into the idea that if I'm prettier, I'll be able to feel better about myself. You need to learn to love yourself as you are. Getting plastic surgery merely to make yourself prettier is enforcing the idea that if a person is more beautiful according the wordly standards, they'll be happier. I think that's a bad thing.

Several studies have shown that on average, one child costs about 250,000 from birth through highschool. Even if you spoil your kid and pay for their college, it would be very difficult for a person of average means to spend over 1 million on one child, let alone 10. You must have been one incredibly spoilt child.

To all those FGM naysayers, you are guilty of ethnocentrism. Consider that is a rite of passage, something to be celebrated. Again, I do sympathize with the pain, anguish, and unmentionable odds these women go through to avoid the proceedure. To make FGM, a humanitarian proceedure, I would suggest using clean insturments, but then untying the knot as soon as they are prepared for some action.

There is no comparison there, and anyone who thinks there is has issues.

	Woodstock2003: As I said earlier, I'm a convert to Unitarian Universalism. Before my conversion, I was a Christian protestant. When I first came out about renouncing Christianity. My parents who are both Christian Fundys were about to throw a fit, and my mother specifically condenmed me to hell. So in response I told them, I don't believe in your God, your hell doesn't exist. Christianity is one big fraud. Christian fundys have told me that I worship the devil, and the whole bit, but I'm relieved that I'm in a rational religion, free from superstition, myths, God, and dogmatism. It sucks to be non-Christian in a heavily Christian society. But again, it feels so good to be rid of Christianity's mind control.
