I've felt this way for a long time. It seems there is something missing, something I used to have, and I'm not sure when I lost it, but it is gone now. Life feels empty, and I can't seem to figure out what pieces are supposed to fill the gap in the puzzle. It seems the peices have been lost behind me like the land in my dreams.I try to think about the past, when life didn't seem empty. What was different then? What could it have been that was in this empty spot? Many things have changed over the years. There used to be people in my life. They're all gone now. I used to care about people, and about things; I used to have interests. Now I don't seem to really care about much, and I'm hardly interested in anything; I only do things to try to distract myself from the big hole in my mind.
