(4 answers)
boxocereal

Have you ever downloaded copyright music, porn, movies, data, etc. Do you worry about getting jail time? Why not?
(8 answers)
boxocereal
: Yes.
Eclipse2003
: Yes, I don't think there is much too fear, there are likely many millions of people downloading material illegally out there. It's just hugely unlikely that the authorities would choose to make an example of me, as there's no way they could punish everybody.
SBG_Writer9289
: Yeah but it's only bad if you share it or try to market it or you download it illegally. There's lots of sites were you can download things for free
kelsoca
: I download constantly, but don't really worry about. canadian law protects the privacy of downloaders so we can't be charged or sued by anyone.

What do you imagine feminists think when they see half naked cheerleaders at football games?
(8 answers)
boxocereal
: Hmm..
Eclipse2003
: Maybe they'd come to their senses and lighten up a bit, crazier things have happened.
faerie_kisses
: Haha, I agree with Cyber_Laur.
springbreaker
: the lesbian ones think hot damn!, the hetro-sexual male ones think hot damn! the female hetro ones think here is the slippery slide to porn; sadly they are right :) it is sex-plotation... do you see half-naked male cheerleader squads fro pro sports? even woemn's pro sports? n-o-p-e :)
MandyLee
: I think feminists are as evil as they are because of what they've lost. Some hag gets old, and....she gets mad. The cheerleader would have a decent body, youth, probably happiness (because of the "simpler" life of being so young), and it would drive the old hag mad as hell. Sometimes I think the yuppie housewife will be the downfall of this country.
SBG_Writer9289
: God I can't stand feminists. Everything to them is mysogenistic and objectifies women. If that were true every song, book, movie and TV show and painting depicting the slightest hint of objectification or violence toward women should be banned. If they want to complain they should go to Somalia.

: it's sooooo the hottest trend with people who have nothing better to talk about at ****tail parties; they hop on the headline band-wagon.
SBG_Writer9289
: It's not good and we need to do something about it
FallNFlames
: I think it's really crucial but it's annoying how stubborn some people are about it
Do you ever fear that America could become a military state? We spend hundreds of billions of dollars on our defense budget, the level of equipment and manpower of the U.S. armed forces is incomprehensible.
(6 answers)
boxocereal
: I don't know.
SBG_Writer9289
: It already is
djhowty
: nope, i don't think it could. and as to springbreaker's military-industrial complex, well, it doesn't take up the entire economy. we do have a huge (not really thriving at the moment) civilian consumer sector

boxocereal
: Uhh..
Jareth87
: I think that it should be like a cheifdom where there is a chief but he does not have any mroe wealth than the other people that way he knows where othere people are coming from
GiltineMoon
: I think money should diminish completely.
SBG_Writer9289
: I don't think wealth helps much
djhowty
: no. one of the reasons that the collectivization practiced by "communist" powers failed was because people had no individual stake in what they were doing. people need to possess something in order to want to care for it.
Inquisitive
: no. if humans weren't allowed to posess wealth, there would be no progression. people wouldnt be encouraged to better themselves.

SmartJock

SBG_Writer9289

What sources do you tend towards in order to discover or believe in "truth" of things?
(8 answers)
boxocereal
: Hmm..
Eclipse2003
: I suppose I try and form an opinion in my own head, based on what I consider most likely or logical. Then choose the sources which I feel give the most balanced view and are most credible. Whatever they may be.
springbreaker
: the internet of course, no body would put anything on the net... or in a book, or a newspaper, or a song or a movie, if it wasn't true?? would they?? OMG! E-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g is a lie!! :)

A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. Would you say our right has been infringed with concealment laws?
(3 answers)
boxocereal
: Hmm..
springbreaker
: florida ttemporarily reverted to an 1880's law for about 3months inthe early 1990's - if you had a gun/carry permit, you had to wear it out in the open, it was illegal to conceal it :)
Brandon_AKA_Rhino
: I would say that there are two sides to any law. No matter what laws we have, someone will complain. As for guns: yes it is our right to own them, but the consequences mean that bad guys get those rights too. Laws that restrict are meant to protect. Yes, some laws can go too far, but responsibility cannot be delegated. Can you decide and judge the intentions of another? Who's to decide? That is why we have most, if not all laws; to "regulate" consequences. I would rather have a bad guy have a harder time trying to attain an auto rifle than merely say "here you go, take some extra bullets and have fun at the shooting range!"

mustangblues18

If you were given a choice, that you could either live your life with love and friends and know nothing of anything else... or if you could live your life in solitude and know everything what would you choose?
(18 answers)
boxocereal
: Hmm..
Kcase
: That's tricky... knowledge is awesome but then without my friends and someone to share with then that knowledge is pretty pointless...
QuIckTreMe
: the first one
purple1
: Since I live the first way, I would choose that way. I love my life, my friends and even the ******* I have a crush on. Its just life and its not meant to be any other way. Besides, my social nature would simply not allow for long periods of solitude without going on a homicidal rampage and killing the ****head responsible for locking me up. Excuse my french.. aha.

Which is worse.. To pre meditate and activly persue a state of hypocrisy or to unbeknowingly be guilty of hypocrisy?
(15 answers)
boxocereal
: Hmm..
madaboutjess
: The latter.
ImJusMee4
: Premeditated because then you are an ass, know it, and don't attempt to change.
purple1
: Unknowingly. When I do it, I always know i'm being a hyprocrite. I just don't give a darn! I've learned what stupid things you really shouldn't do and telling someone about it isn't really a crime in my book.
