For students, Halloween may just be the biggest holiday of the year. Whether you are dressing up to go to class or you are throwing the biggest Halloween bash your school has ever seen - Halloween is the holiday that lets everyone go out, dress stupid, be creative and have a great time.

  • Halloween History - The History of Halloween from the History Channel
  • Halloween Masks - With new technology, Halloween masks are a far cry from what they were just a few years back. From a $10 plastic mask to a $100 latex mask, the options are impressive.
  • Pumpkin Carving - You can't have Halloween without a pumpkin. Whether you are going for an intricate design or an old fashion basic triangle-eyed pumkin - check out this site for some good info.
  • Halloween Wigs - Pick up a wig or a fake mustache here
6 Rock Solid Rules for Halloween
  1. Don't be that guy / girl who doesn't dress up. You aren't too cool for school, so dress up and you won't have to be the lame guy explaining all night why you put zero effort into the night.
  2. Go All Out. Don't throw on a cowboy hat from your closet and say you are a cowboy. Nobody wants to talk to the lame cowboy - they want to talk to the crazy-ass Dwight Schrute replica or the walking replica of the empire state building. Great Costume = Fun all night long.
  3. Sexy is ok. Everybody knows that this is the one day of the year that girls can get away with dressing however they want. Cheerleaders, naughty nurses and sexy librarians come out of the woodwork on Halloween so if you are usually shy but want to flaunt it a bit, give it a shot..
  4. Games are good. Bobbing for apples may sound like something for 5 year olds, but bring out a tub full of apples 2 hours into the party and you will have plenty of takers. (hint - don't go last.)
  5. Think about how fun the costume will be to wear all night. You may have the greatest costume on earth, but if you can't take it off to hit the bathroom it won't be a very fun night. Does your costume allow you to eat, drink, fit through doorways and go to the bathroom? Think about a mask that is easy to take off, or that still allows you to put a drink to your lips.
  6. You are never too old to trick or treat.
