YouTube's Plan To Segregate Amateur Video Content
There is a lot of controversy over changes that YouTube is making to better monetize their site. Right now, YouTube is rumored to be losing hundreds of millions of dollars per year because their bandwidth costs are enormous. Although YouTube's advertising revenues have been climbing, they are still nowhere near as high as the bandwidth costs. Consequently, YouTube is planning to make changes where they will focus on professionally made videos and put less emphasis on the amateur videos and videomakers that made YouTube what it is today. Many YouTubers are very upset about the proposed changes. Cadegoestocollege and booshoe37 are here to explain the upcoming changes.

I agree with Lizzielizzie8.

Youtube has to do something, or else they are gonna shut down, and EVERYBODY loses.
Which would you prefer?
How else will Google **** up YouTube? They can make a show about this, they literally **** it up in a new way everyday. I cant stand that crappy Google, the only thing they've ever done right is the search engine.

As upsetting as this may be for amateur videomakers, we have to keep in mind that this is a business after all. They have to come up with the means to cover the cost of bandwidth or whatever expenditures they have to keep their site up and running.
